The Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
This is a 3 month placement, with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
* Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle with vacuum hose and high-pressure water jetting equipment.
* Working closely with a skilled operative, you will assist in the operation of machinery for the clearance and maintenance of roadside drains to prevent blockages and reduce the risk of flooding.
Shift Patterns
* Day Shift – 06:00-16:30
* Night Shift – 17:00 – 03:30
Pay Rates
* Days – £14 - £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
* Nights – £17.50 - £18.13 per hour (PAYE)
Requirements
* HGV Class 2 Licence with valid CPC.
* Previous experience in highways or drainage work is beneficial.
* Willing to undertake the physical aspect of the work.
