We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in public relations and social media management. As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in developing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and promoting our brand across various platforms.
Duties
* Assist in creating and curating engaging content for social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
* Monitor social media trends and provide insights to enhance our online strategy.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that align with our brand objectives.
* Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
* Help track and analyse social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns.
* Support the public relations team in drafting press releases and other communication materials.
* Participate in brainstorming sessions for new content ideas and strategies.
Qualifications
* Strong interest in public relations and social media management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
* Familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark) is a plus but not essential.
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
