This role offers hybrid working, with two days based in the office each week.**The People Services Team Leader serves as a key contact for delivering accurate, timely, and consistent People-related guidance. This role works collaboratively with the wider business, the People Team, and internal stakeholders to understand and resolve employee matters effectively. As a leader within the Employee Services team, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of People Advisors, while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance across all team activities.* Provide day-to-day leadership and motivation to your team, ensuring they consistently act in the best interests of employees, Line Managers, and the wider business.* Inspire, support, and coach team members to deliver exceptional employee experience, offering structured feedback to help them continuously improve and exceed expectations.* Oversee and manage individual and team performance, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, communicating clearly, professionally, and effectively at all levels.* Conduct regular one-to-one performance reviews and meaningful connected conversations to support development and engagement.* Offer clear and accurate advice on policies and procedures, equipping colleagues with the knowledge they need.* Act as the first point of contact for escalated queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.* Manage team workload to ensure high-quality outputs are delivered within agreed deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).* Lead the day-to-day delivery of operational change projects within the People Team, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.* Monitor and report on team performance against agreed targets, providing updates to the Senior HR Operations Manager.**We tend to look for people with:**Essential:* Previous line management experience is essential, with a proven ability to lead, support, and develop team members.* Proven experience working within a HR or Employee Services team environment.* Demonstrated contribution to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and processes.* Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification.* Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and its practical application.* Interest in and awareness of employment law, including its application and best practice principles.* Experience in providing policy and process advice to line managers and employees is desirable.Desirable:* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with experience using HR systems such as Oracle Service Cloud, Workday, and workflow/case management tools.* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear advice and manage challenging conversations effectively and at pace.* Competitive salary* 25 days annual leave with the option to purchase 5 more* Access to wellbeing and mental health benefits such as the Calm app, personal medical, critical illness cover and dental insurance* Matched pension contribution up to 10%* 24 hours of paid Volunteer Time Off* Discounted gym and wellness memberships* Access to our car benefit scheme* Access to our online learning platform to continue to develop and grow your career with us* The chance to join an innovative, fast-paced and passionate team**Who we are:**Liberty Blume, a Liberty Global company, is a rapidly growing business services provider, specialising in tech-enabled back-office solutions.
