Location: Elderbank Additional Support For Learning Base St Kilda Bank Broomlands Irvine, KA11 1LA

Rate: £16.84 - £18.20 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 7 hours per week


Job Summary

This post will commence August 2025.

Interviews may be conducted in person or via Microsoft Teams. Candidates will need a device with a camera and internet access. Guidance will be provided for virtual interviews.

This role is within our Education Directorate at Elderbank Primary. You will support young people with additional support needs within the Supported Learning Provision, collaborating with class teams and community partners. There will also be opportunities to lead positive play activities with learners.

PVG (Children)

This post involves regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act, 2007. Applicants barred from working with children should not apply.

Preferred candidates will need to join or update their PVG Scheme before employment is confirmed. Candidates will cover the cost (£59 or £18), deducted from wages after starting. If successful, your name and email will be entered into the Disclosure Scotland PVG system to generate your PVG form, which will be sent via email with instructions.
