Join our Home Delivery Network, based in our Harlow depot, as our Transport Supervisor. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of drivers, porters, and administrative colleagues to ensure the transport operation is run efficiently and effectively while providing exceptional customer service and support to colleagues and clients in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.

Salary: up to £38,613.12 per annum. 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Benefits include a company‑sponsored pension scheme, life assurance and access to our benefits platform, which offers retail discounts.
Contract: Full time, permanent position with contracted hours of 37.5 per week. You’ll be working any 5 days out of 7 with a mixture of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.
What you’ll do on a typical day
* Lead the transport team with confidence and positivity, setting clear goals, encouraging teamwork, and creating a culture where everyone takes pride in doing a great job.
* Keep drivers supported, skilled, and motivated through hands‑on leadership, regular check‑ins, coaching, and timely feedback.
* Look after the fleet, ensuring vehicles are maintained, road‑ready, and compliant through smart planning and strong supplier relationships.
* Act as the go‑to problem‑solver for customers and colleagues, handling queries and challenges with a calm, customer‑first mindset.
* Use data, insight, and common sense to keep operations running smoothly, tracking KPIs, improving performance, managing risk, and working closely with other teams.
