Job Summary
The Front of House Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests while overseeing the front of house team. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will have experience in restaurant management and team supervision, ensuring that all aspects of service meet our high standards.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily front of house operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for guests.
* Manage and train staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence in service.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate service flow and resolve any issues that arise during service.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
* Maintain inventory levels for front of house supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
* Implement training programmes for new staff on hospitality standards, food safety, and service techniques.
* Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement within the front of house operations.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential.
* Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation and cooking preferred.
* Background in serving, barista duties, or hotel management is advantageous.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations is required.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences.
