Job Title: Teacher of Science
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: M1 to UPS3 (paid to scale)
Start Date: September 2024
GSL Education’s Hull branch is currently looking to appoint a Qualified Teacher of Science at a co-educational secondary school located in the East Riding of Yorkshire. This is a full-time position, with a start date of September 2024. Early Career Teachers are welcome to apply.
Teacher of Science Role and Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality science lessons to students aged 11-16.
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Develop and implement creative teaching strategies.
* Support students in their scientific inquiries and experiments.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum.
Teacher of Science Requirements:
* Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with UK-based teaching experience within the last 2 years.
* Specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics to A-Level.
* Be able to teach all three Sciences at Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels.
* Have a collaborative and co-operative mindset.
* Have an enthusiastic and dynamic approach to teaching Science, promoting the subject across the school.
* Have an updated CV with an Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
