As our workload continues to grow, were looking to expand our team with a skilled and motivated Service Engineer.
The Role You will be responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of lorry-mounted cranes (HIAB, Palfinger, Fassi, HMF, Atlas etc.) and associated hydraulic and electrical systems.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving both workshop and field-based work.
Key Responsibilities Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults on lorry-mounted cranes Carry out routine servicing, LOLER inspections, and preventative maintenance Perform repairs, component replacements, and system calibrations Complete job sheets, service reports, and customer documentation accurately Provide professional on-site support to customers Maintain high standards of safety, workmanship, and customer service What Were Looking For Experience working with lorry-mounted cranes or similar hydraulic equipment Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics, and mechanical systems Ability to read technical diagrams and follow diagnostic procedures Full UK driving xkybehq licence Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently Good communication and customer-facing skills What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Overtime opportunities Company vehicle (for field engineers) Ongoing training and manufacturer support Friendly, supportive team environment Long-term career stability with a growing specialist business How to Apply If youre a skilled engineer looking for a role where your expertise is valued, wed love to hear from you.
