We're looking for a skilled and reliable Reactive Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. This is a mobile role carrying out reactive repair and maintenance work across the UK, responding to call-outs, diagnosing faults, and delivering effective, high-quality repairs to keep our clients' sites running smoothly.
You'll be the go-to problem solver — tackling a variety of issues day-to-day, ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent customer service at every job.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend and respond to reactive maintenance requests across multiple client sites nationwide.
* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, or building fabric faults quickly and effectively.
* Carry out minor installations, replacements, and emergency repairs as needed.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards, health & safety procedures, and statutory regulations.
* Maintain accurate job records and reports through our digital system.
* Communicate effectively with the helpdesk and clients to provide updates and solutions.
About You
* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer, or similar role (multi-skilled preferred).
* Trade qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds) in electrical, plumbing, or mechanical discipline.
* Full UK driving licence – willing to travel and stay away when required.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude and excellent customer focus.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own workload efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
