You may come from an adjusting, surveying, or construction background in the insurance industry but are tired of long hours, poor work-life balance, and negligible company benefits. Our award-winning teams, full of great people and underpinned by our unique culture, help us stand out from the market.
Ageas Insurance is looking for a Claims Buildings Consultant with extensive experience in loss analysis, and a strong understanding of insurance industry scoping tools and technology for loss validation, triage, and settlement optimization.
As a Claims Buildings Consultant, you will provide technical support and referral assistance to Technical Leads and Senior Claims Handlers, supporting technical capability and governance, gathering insights through referrals, targeted file reviews, and escalated case support. You will use supply chain performance insights to support the smooth delivery of customer and business outcomes in real time.

* Developing and supporting claims handling interventions when derailment or spend deterioration occurs, keeping close to dissatisfaction and root cause analysis to drive improved outcomes.
* Identifying and addressing supplier performance issues case-by-case and driving behavioral improvements with Supplier Relationship Managers.
Skills and Experience Needed:
* Significant experience in complex property claims handling for an insurer or adjusting firm/Managing General Agent.
* Member of or working towards CII, CIOB, RICS qualifications, or a desire to do so unless you possess exceptional property claims experience.
* Strong building pathology knowledge, including Schedule of Rates, tender reviews, and JCT experience.
* Experience with process and operational improvement programs is beneficial.
* CII or CILA qualifications desirable or in progress.
