We are growing and looking to add a Senior Mechanical Engineer to the mixture.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components, with a focus on heavy structures and weldments. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively on complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
* Perform detailed analysis and simulation using tools such as ANSYS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
* Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and Inventor.
* Lead and participate in assembly and layout planning for mechanical systems, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design integration and project success.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
* Conduct design reviews and present findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis, with a focus on heavy structural components.
* Proficiency in CAD software, especially SolidWorks and Inventor.
* Experience with ANSYS and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structural analysis.
* Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
