About the Role
As Bid Coordinator / Bid Writer, you will play a central role in the organisation, coordination and production of high-quality bid submissions. You will manage deadlines, structure information, and support the delivery of compliant, accurate and compelling bids. Working closely with the Bid Team, Operations, Commercial and Sales, you’ll bring clarity, organisation and professionalism to every submission we produce.
This role is ideal for someone highly organised, proactive, and confident working with structured documents, compliance requirements and multiple contributors.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the end-to-end bid process, ensuring deadlines, requirements and progress are clearly communicated
• Plan and manage bid schedules, reviews and approval stages
• Prepare and format mandatory sections of SQs, RFIs and tender documents using approved templates
• Work with teams across the business to gather technical content, policies and supporting evidence
• Complete desktop research into clients, contracts and competitors
• Maintain bid libraries, trackers, document repositories and standard responses
• Manage all portal uploads, ensuring compliance with instructions and formatting rules
• Support post-submission reviews, capturing lessons learned to improve future submissions
Key Requirements
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including document structuring and formatting
• A proactive mindset with confidence coordinating multiple teams
• Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
• Experience in bids, tender coordination, administration or pre-construction support (preferred but not essential)
