Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Aspire People are currently recruiting for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Kings Norton. This is a full-time role, starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will play a key role within the school, covering classes to provide teacher release time (PPA cover) and delivering targeted interventions to support pupil progress across the school.
The Role Will Include:
* Providing whole-class cover during teacher release time
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with school expectations
* Delivering small group and 1:1 interventions to support learning
* Supporting pupils' academic progress and engagement
* Working closely with teaching staff and senior leaders
* Maintaining positive behaviour and a supportive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold HLTA status (or equivalent experience)
* Have experience working across the primary age range
* Be confident covering classes independently
* Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be proactive, flexible, and reliable
* Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning
