Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Up to £37,253 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Life Assurance 3x Annual Salary + Pension 5% Matched + Company bonus based on attendance, productivity, and quality + Company discount scheme and Westfield health.
Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week (Flexible working, core hours to be covered). Core Hours: 9am – 3pm Mon-Thurs and 9am – 2pm on Friday.
The Facilities Maintenance Engineer Role:
* Maintain building to a high standard, carrying out reactive repairs to the building, facilities, and site, and make improvements that will have a positive impact on safety, staff wellbeing, and legal compliance.
* Responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to internal and external building, fixtures, fittings, infrastructure.
* Provide general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), including plumbing, carpentry, building small works, painting, hardware repairs, and other repair/replacement work as required.
* Perform routine facilities maintenance repairs.
* Conduct routine inspections of assigned buildings and infrastructure.
* Scope, source, and procure materials for projects and repairs as necessary.
* Evaluate and repair issues as they arise and communicate with Supervisors.
* Ensure compliance with relevant building/infrastructure legislation.
* Control of contractors for building/facilities maintenance.
The Successful Facilities Maintenance Engineer:
* Level 2 NVQ in Building Maintenance Multi trade or equivalent. Formal training in carpentry, building, construction, plumbing, electrics, or relevant building trade.
* Those with an 18th edition or equivalent, legionella awareness, or HVAC experience will have an advantage.
