The opportunity:
Based in Bexhill
Full-time role (Monday to Friday)
£450 - £475weekly (Term time only)
Start ASAP
The successful graduate must:
Hold a science degree (2:2 or above)
Have a passion for science
Have a strong knowledge of the Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSE curriculum
Have a DBS on the update service(preferred not essential)
Have high expectations when teaching students and help them reach their full potential
Be creative and enthusiastic
Be able to keep students engaged and motivated
Have great communication skills
As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be working within the Science department supporting students during lessons. Your role as a Science Teaching Assistant will include providing classroom support alongside the classroom teacher, creating resources for students to use during the lesson, leading small groups and 1:1 outside the classroom (high achievers and low ability), help plan science lessons for the week, mark students work and provide feedback when necessary.
