London Speech Therapy (LST) is a leading independent provider of multidisciplinary services to schools and families across the UK. Founded in 2009, LST is led by a team of fully qualified, HCPC-registered therapists who are members of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. LST offers a range of services including Clinical Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, Counselling, and Occupational Therapy. Our services are provided in various locations such as clinics in London, home visits across the UK & Internationally, and commissioned directly by schools and Local Authorities.
Role Description
This is a part-time role for an Occupational Therapist for 1 - 2 days per week, located across our clinics in Stratford, Harley Street & Barbican and with our clients in the community. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing rehabilitation services, and working closely with children and their families. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. We are a neuroaffirming service and the candidate will be aligned with this.
Qualifications
* Bachelor or Master\'s degree in Occupational Therapy
* Minimum of one year post graduate experience working as an Occupational Therapist
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
* HCPC registration and relevant professional memberships
* Experience in providing therapy in educational settings is a plus
* Experience in sensory integration is preferred, though not essential
* Experience in working with the paediatric population essential
* Experience working with the adult population is a plus, though not essential
