About this role We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team and take ownership of a defined domain within the BR-DGE product. This is a hands-on role for a collaborative professional who enjoys turning product and stakeholder insights into clear, actionable requirements. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality delivery, growing into a trusted subject matter expert within your domain. Reporting to the Product Delivery Manager, you will join a supportive team of several other Product Owners. While each person focuses on a distinct area, our platform is highly interconnected; we therefore value individuals who are keen on building strong relationships and collaborating across the wider team to achieve shared success. What you’ll be doing Own and actively manage a defined product domain within the BR-DGE platform, becoming a trusted subject matter expert in areas such as vaulting, tokenisation, risk engines and / or specific third-party integrations. Partner closely with the engineering team to support the delivery of roadmap priorities through stand-ups, refinement, and ongoing squad collaboration. Break down complex product and business requirements into clear user stories and robust acceptance criteria. Refine requirements with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, merchants, and external partners such as Payment Service Providers (PSPs). Work collaboratively with other Product Owners across interconnected domains to align priorities, manage dependencies, and share best practices. Driving Clarity: Bringing structure to requirements and backlog items, ensuring delivery conversations are clear and productive. Collaborative Leadership: Operating as a trusted joint leader within the Scrum team, showing sound judgement when refining requirements and aligning stakeholders. Cultural Contribution: Actively contributing to our open, inclusive, and collaborative working style, helping the wider product team build and grow. Essential Experience Direct experience within the FinTech, PayTech or Payments sector. Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager within a software environment. Demonstrable experience working alongside engineering teams in an Agile Scrum delivery framework. Ability to break requirements down into clear stories that development teams can execute well. S trong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. A collaborative and autonomous approach to your work. Experienced user of Jira and Confluence. Nice to h ave Previous experience in a fast-paced scale-up environment, helping internal teams understand product changes through demos and showcases. Experience in a highly regulated environment. Experience with technical writing support or working closely with documentation teams.
