Children's Neurodiversity Team Manager
The post holder will have operational management responsibility for Children's Neurodevelopment Teams and will ensure the provision of high‑quality clinical services supporting individuals with access to assessments and appropriate treatment for ADHD and Autism.
The post holder will ensure the coordination and development of the Team implementing and maintaining services within a defined resource and work collaboratively with external partners to ensure that mental and physical health needs are supported with parity and that the service operates in a safe, effective and efficient way as part of the wider health and social care system.

Responsibilities
* Provide clear visible operational and clinical leadership, uphold and monitor the clinical standards of the service.
* Provide managerial supervision to the team and support the Service Manager and Directorate Leads with the delivery of the service.
* Represent the service in meetings, write reports, respond to complaints and interface with colleagues from a range of multi‑disciplinary backgrounds.
* Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and be highly motivated.
* Travel within the required geographical area across all localities of the Trust and have access to transport.
* Receive professional development and management support from the service manager.
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
* Evidence up to date and applicable CPD.
* Evidence of extensive post‑registration learning & development.
* Educated to level 7 postgraduate/Masters level.
Knowledge and Experience
* Flexible & responsive to the needs of the service.
* Knowledge of evidence based practice including NICE Guidance relating to the relevant pathway.
* Experience of having managed staff groups and teams.
* Effective leadership and skills management.
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and that of others.
* Ability to manage change and contribute to development of service delivery.
* Able to cope with stressful situations and remain positive in the face of managerial and clinical pressures.
* Ability to manage conflict.
* Understanding of personal resilience.
* Previous experience in clinical leadership and delivering clinical supervision.
* Ability to work across the service when required, working within own competencies.
* Experience of research, audit and quality improvement methodologies.
* Competencies in providing expert health support and decision making in early help and complex safeguarding referrals.
Skills
* Able to develop effective working relationships with staff.

* Ability to promote a positive, person‑centred culture based upon a recovery approach involving patients/carers in decision making.
* Ability to contribute to development of service delivery.
