Salary: £90 - £110 Per Day (based on experience and contract length)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting enthusiastic and knowledgeable individuals to work as Science Specialist Cover Supervisors in secondary schools across Liverpool. We have opportunities for both flexible day-to-day supply and full-time subject-specific cover roles available immediately.
The Role
As a Science Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics in the absence of the regular teacher. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience, support pupils' academic progress, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising whole classes during teacher absence, primarily in Science
* Managing behaviour and ensuring students remain on task
* Supporting students with their learning and answering subject-related queries
* Reporting on lesson outcomes to teaching staff and school leadership

Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who:
* Have a background or strong interest in Science (degree or A-level desirable)
* Are confident, proactive, and able to manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Have previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
* Are aspiring teachers, experienced education staff, or career changers passionate about Science education

Requirements
* Minimum of GCSEs in English and Science (or equivalent); A-level or degree in Science preferred
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Legal right to work in the UK
