This is a Sales Manager position for an upscale lifestyle hotel in Cambridge. The Sales Manager will be instrumental in promoting the hotel, raising awareness in the local market and putting it on the map as an accommodation destination in Cambridge. This is a proactive, hands-on Sales Manager role driving Corporate, MICE, Leisure and Extended Stay business into the hotel.
About the role
Drive sales across all market segments from across the local Cambridge and wider East of England markets, into the hotel.
Manage relationships with key clients and agents.
Regular face-to-face appointments per week to source new business.
Work closely with the Director of Sales and wider brand sales team.
Hold site visits and client entertainment as required.
Produce sales activity reports as required.
What we are looking for
Hotel or serviced apartments sales experience is essential.
Experience with lifestyle hotels or brands is highly desirable.
A proven track record of successful business development and account management is essential.
A self-motivated, driven, commercially aware and results orientated, and proactive attitude is required.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
A full and clean driving licence and own car are required.
