An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Reception Manager to join the Front Office Team at Indigo Hotel Leicester Square, part of Criterion Hospitality.As Reception Manager, you'll play a pivotal leadership role in the smooth day-to-day operations of the front desk, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and a seamless experience from arrival to departure. With your energy, organisation, and drive for excellence, you will lead your team by example—creating a professional, guest-focused, and efficient front-of-house environment.Salary: £33kKey Responsibilities:Oversee daily reception operations, including smooth check-in and check-out proceduresLead, motivate, and train the reception team to deliver consistently high levels of guest serviceProactively handle guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and urgencyEnsure the lobby and front desk areas are always presentable, welcoming, and well-managedSupport the Front Office Manager with administrative tasks, rotas, team development, and performance managementMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health & safety, GDPR, and operational standardsCollaborate with all departments to ensure exceptional guest experiencesWhat We’re Looking For:Previous experience as a Reception Manager or Guest Services Manager in a hotel settingStrong knowledge of front office systems, procedures, and guest service standardsHands-on, inspirational leadership style with a focus on people developmentEnergetic, professional, and confident approach to guest interactionExceptional communication, organisational, and team management skillsCalm and solutions-focused under pressure, with a proactive and can-do attitudeAbout Us:Criterion Hospitality is a vibrant and forward-thinking company redefining hospitality and real estate in London’s dynamic West End.
