The Role:
As a Hire Controller, you will:
* Take charge of the hire and off-hire process, ensuring all orders are efficiently processed.
* Maximise hire income to meet budget targets while maintaining high service levels.
* Handle customer enquiries and callouts promptly and professionally.
* Coordinate equipment deliveries and collections with the Depot Assistant Manager.
* Manage customer contracts and maintain accurate records in our hire system.
* Liaise with the service department to ensure efficient service delivery.
The Candidate:
For the Hire Controller role, you should have:
* Previous hire desk experience.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines.
* Excellent relationship-building skills across all business levels.
* Strong negotiation skills and business awareness.
