Full Time Reservationist We are seeking a meticulous and detail orientated Reservationist to join the Scenic Hotel Group Support Office 16th April, 2024 Location: 9 Sheffield Crescent, Burnside, Christchurch 8053 Hours of Work: Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Rotating roster; primarily Monday - Friday but will include the occasional Saturday shift. Employment Type: Part-Time permanent position available. Pay rate: $25 per hour Explore: https://www.scenichotelgroup.co.nz/ Based in Christchurch at our Support Office, and reporting to the Central Reservations Manager, the Reservationist role provides vital support for our Scenic Hotel Group properties nation-wide Key Tasks & Responsibilities Assist guests with inquiries, reservation requests, and provide information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities. Address and resolve guest concerns or issues related to reservations. Enter reservation details accurately into the hotel's booking system. Promote special packages, upgrades, and additional services to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue. Manage multiple reservations simultaneously, balancing phone calls, emails. Clearly communicate cancellation policies, check-in/check-out times, and other relevant information to guests. Customer-focused attitude with the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally. Time management skills to handle a fast-paced environment effectively. Problem-solving capabilities to address guest needs and challenges Qualifications & Experience: 1 - 2 years experience in a similar role would be an advantage, but is not essential. You must have an aptitude for technology, excellent attention to detail, and have an ability to learn new systems quickly. Above all else, you'll need a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
