Our client is looking to introduce new people to the forklift truck industry as a Forklift Workshop Engineer based out of their Maidenhead depot. Maidenhead is the hub of their fleet for the South of England and an important part of their business.
Offering the successful PDI Forklift Workshop Engineer:
* Up To £28,000 Salary Depending On Experience
* Monday to Friday Working Hours ONLY!
* No weekends
* 25 days holiday + overtime at a higher rate!
* Ideal for recent or newly qualified technicians (Car, Van, HGV, Plant) seeking a foot in the motor trade!
As a PDI Forklift Workshop Engineer, your responsibilities include:
* Service and maintenance of diesel, LPG, and electrical materials handling equipment
* Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance, and pre-delivery inspection of forklift trucks
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Adhering to health and safety guidelines and workshop rules
* Using a tablet to complete job cards and order parts
* Working as part of a team to complete tasks within set timeframes
Ideal candidate qualities include:
* Relevant technical qualification or demonstrable experience (Level 2 / Level 3)
* Desire to develop skills further
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Good workload management and prioritisation skills
