Job Title: IT Teacher – Secondary School (Supply / Fixed-Term)
Location: Middlesbrough, Teesside
Salary: Pay to Scale (Depending on Experience)

Protocol Education is working with a well-established secondary school in Middlesbrough to recruit an IT / Computing Teacher for a fixed-term supply position starting in January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for teachers seeking stability beyond the initial contract, with potential for further work once this placement ends.

The school is recognised for its high expectations, strong routines, and practical approach to learning, supporting students to develop confidence and essential digital skills for life beyond school. What you’ll be doing:

1. Teaching Computing and IT across relevant key stages

2. Delivering engaging, practical, skills-focused lessons

3. Working within an organised and well-resourced department

4. Supporting students to build confidence and develop digital competence

5. Contributing positively to the wider life of the school

You’ll need:

6. QTS preferred but not essential

7. Experience teaching or covering Computing and IT in a secondary school

8. Strong classroom management with clear expectations

9. Reliable, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching

10. A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
