Technical Programme Manager- Tech Debt Remediation
We are recruiting for a Technical Programme Manager with London Markets experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6 month contract.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive delivery planning and execution of one or more multi-year technology investments
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for the program, providing consistent, accurate, timely information; documenting and facilitating delivery logistics
3. Partner with a cross-functional group of leaders from Operations, Business Agility, Technology, Underwriting, Data, and other departments to help define and sequence tech delivery for the Program
4. Develop multi-year delivery roadmaps with all key tech interaction points to enable sustainable tech execution
5. Own program risk management: identify, quantify and mitigate risks, maintain a risk register, and manage clear escalation paths to leadership when issues threaten delivery or budget
6. Establish and run program governance to transform ambiguity into clear and concise direction to product teams, portfolio teams, and leadership (steering committees, RACI, decision logs, vision and mission), ensuring timely decisions and alignment across stakeholders in partnership with digital product management
7. Serve as a thought leader in program delivery across the organization and facilitate cross-program continuous improvement activities
8. This is a critical role on the program leadership team to drive strategy and execution on our multi-year initiative to build/maintain a program structure, reduce technical and operational risk, and ensure effective delivery across agile teams.
9. Completing data centre exit as well as other projects which are either delivery towards modernisation or discovery and approach type work towards future initiatives. replacement of policy admin systems"
Skills and Experience
10. In-depth knowledge of business operations, objectives and strategies. In-depth knowledge of agile methodology, and ability to mobilize multiple agile delivery teams across multiple domains towards a single mission.
11. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and SPM tools.
12. Knowledge of technology concepts, strategies and methodologies typically acquired through a bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business discipline.
13. Experience in a practice relevant domain including delivering software solutions in an agile environment in the property & casualty insurance industry.
14. Underwriting experience
