About the role
We are recruiting an Education Information Officer to lead the development of Cumberland’s Education offer, SEND Local Offer and Local Inclusion & SEND Offer (LISO). This is a critical role at the centre of improving transparency, accessibility and trust across the Education and SEND system.
High-quality, accessible information is essential for families and professionals to make informed decisions. You will play a central role in ensuring our Education and SEND information is accurate, co-produced and meets statutory requirements—directly supporting better experiences and outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Leading the development and ongoing improvement of the Education Offer, Local Offer and LISO
* Ensuring all information is accurate, accessible and compliant with statutory guidance
* Establishing governance and quality assurance processes for content
* Coordinating co-production with children, young people, families and partners
* Monitoring usage data and feedback to continuously improve information
* Working across education, health, social care and digital teams to ensure consistent messaging
Qualifications
* Experience working with SEND or education information
* Ability to translate complex systems into clear, user‑friendly content
* Passion for co-production and user experience
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Understanding of statutory duties and accessibility standards
