Activities Coordinator Activities - Cherrybrook Care Home Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40 Cherrybrook Care Home is a stunning 120 bedded facility in Leeds, split across two units and specialising in complex mental health, dementia and challenging behaviours. The home provides high quality, person centred care in a safe and supportive environment. Activities Coordinator £12.21 per hour 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends Pension, onsite parking, paid DBS, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract Role Overview As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the daily lives of residents by creating meaningful, engaging and person centred activities. You will be responsible for delivering a varied programme that supports emotional wellbeing, social interaction and a sense of purpose. Working within a complex care environment, you will support individuals living with dementia and mental health needs, ensuring activities are inclusive, safe and tailored to each resident’s abilities and interests. You will plan and deliver both group and one to one activities, from creative sessions and themed events to quieter, more personalised interactions. You will take time to understand each resident, building relationships that help promote confidence, comfort and enjoyment. Working closely with the care team, you will ensure all activities are aligned with care plans and contribute to a positive, stimulating environment throughout the home.
