Nature and scope
The Finance Manager will report directly into the Group Financial Controller (based in the UK) and manage the consolidation of 40 legal entities across 10 different countries. In addition to financial consolidation, they will be involved in commercial reporting, streamlining processes, monthly and quarterly closing process, annual audits and cash flow.
Pelsis Group is private equity backed group and has a growing top line through organic and acquisition programs. Going forward Pelsis will continue to investigate meaningful acquisitions and expand its market presence in different regions.
This role will be part of the Group Finance consolidation team, based in the Midlands - UK, and will be in regular contact with local finance managers across the group.
Key Accountabilities
* Support the consolidation of monthly group accounts and intercompany reconciliations
* Support the statutory consolidation process under IFRS
* Support the annual (Group) audits
* Involvement in the yearly budgeting process
* Consolidation of 13-week rolling cash forecasts
* Analyse monthly trends in local businesses to provide input for corporate reporting
* Provide management information to stakeholders including banks and investors
* Ad hoc analysis
Candidate Requirements
* A Masters degree in Accounting/Finance, ACA / ACCA would be preferable
* A minimum of 1 or 2 years of experience in audit, accounting or consolidation functions
* Fluent in English and excellent communicator
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* An interest in different ERP’s and consolidation software
* An ambitious self-starter
