Job Title: Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse
Banding: Band 5
Location: Harlow, Essex
Rate: £23.00 - £35.00 per hour
As an Accident & Emergency (A&E) Nurse, you will be an integral part of our Emergency Department team in Harlow, providing urgent and critical care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies. Your quick decision-making skills, ability to handle high-pressure situations, and compassionate approach will ensure that patients receive timely and efficient care during their most vulnerable moments.
Key Responsibilities
* Triaging patients upon arrival, assessing their condition, and prioritizing care based on the severity of their condition.
* Administering initial treatments and interventions to stabilize patients, providing life-saving measures when necessary.
* Monitoring and recording vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients\' conditions.
* Assisting the medical team in performing diagnostic tests and interpreting the results.
* Administering medications and intravenous therapy as prescribed by physicians.

Requirements
* Valid NMC registration.
* 6 months experience.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Flexibility & Reliability: Willingness to work across various shifts including nights, weekends and days.
* A current DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check (Pulse Nursing can help facilitate this).
