Section Engineer RGB are recruiting on behalf of a Civil Engineering Main Contractor in their search to find the very best talent within the Southwest. About the role: On offer is the opportunity to join an existing growing and thriving engineering team of Engineers headed up by a PM who can offer career development and training. As well as being supported by the project lead you’ll have the opportunity to work on one of the UKs largest Infrastructure Projects as well as a number of Highways and Civil Engineering schemes to include tunnelling and marine works. As the experienced Section Engineer, you will have the following duties: Checking technical drawings, specifications and information and reporting any issues or queries to the engineering team. Ensuring that sufficient information is available on drawings and sketches to set out the works in accordance with the programme. Report any inconsistencies in the information provided to the Project Manager Dimensional setting out and control of temporary and permanent works Undertake Quantity take off for materials from drawings. Maintain a Daily site diary and carry out daily Health and Safety Inspections As the Section Engineer you will also have previous experience of Setting Out and understanding of Dimensional Controls, Formation Approvals, Reinforcement Records, Concrete Pour Records, Drainage Inspection Records, Instrument Calibration Checks for the setting out eng...
