Role Overview
IMDEX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support across our EMEA operations. In this influential role, you will partner with senior stakeholders to shape commercial decisions, strengthen governance, and enable sustainable business growth across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide expert legal advice across commercial, contractual, corporate and regulatory matters.
· Draft, review and negotiate complex and non-standard commercial agreements.
· Support business units on disputes, potential claims, corporate transactions and risk mitigation.
· Advise on employment/labour law issues, intellectual property matters and governance frameworks.
· Strengthen IMDEX’s compliance program, legal policies and training materials.
· Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and mentor junior legal team members.
Ideal Candidate Profile
· Current, unrestricted practising certificate.
· 8–15 years post-admission experience within EMEA (top-tier firm or respected in-house team).
· Strong contract drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills.
· Confident operating autonomously on complex, sensitive or high-impact matters.
· Excellent communication, judgement and stakeholder engagement.
· High attention to detail and ability to manage diverse regional legal issues.
