Overview
Parts and Warranty Advisor – Canterbury. Location: Canterbury. Salary: £12.71 per hour plus monthly bonus scheme. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm and the first Saturday of each month, 8:00am to 2:00pm.
The Role
This is a multi-skilled position combining parts advisory, warranty administration, and service bookings. Working closely with the existing aftersales team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating and scheduling service and parts appointments efficiently for customers and the workshop team
* Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
* Providing accurate advice and support on parts, warranty products, and service options
* Processing warranty claims accurately and efficiently
* Supplying parts to the workshop, managing stock orders, and maintaining accurate stock control
* Responding to customer and internal enquiries in a professional and timely manner
* Supporting the promotion of additional products and services, including upselling and retention offers where appropriate
Key Requirements
* Previous motor trade experience is advantageous but not essential
* Experience in customer service
* Excellent communication and telephone skills
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and administrative abilities
* A proactive and reliable approach
* Confidence working independently and as part of a team
* Strong IT skills
