Job Role: Workshop Mechanical Engineer
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Metalis are currently working with an engineering company in Chesterfield who are looking for an experienced Workshop Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Job Duties:
Mechanical repairs, fault finding and general maintenance of equipment
Strip down, repair and reassemble a variety of parts and components
Working on mechanical and electrical components
Read and work from technical drawings
Work with various tools and equipment
Job Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering OR time-served equivalent
Experience working with motors, pumps, gearboxes and similar equipment
Manual machining experience advantageous (for one-off repairs and parts fabrication
Salary & Shift:
£34,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
