This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their partnering skills and take on a varied, impactful role. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll work with both the Independent Sales and Commercial Operations divisions. It provides a balance of day-to-day HR support, strategic initiatives, and collaboration with senior stakeholders across the business.
Although this is a home-based role, travel will be required to support the business, which may include overnight stays.
Key Accountabilities:
* Support the full employee lifecycle in collaboration with HR Centres of Excellence
* Partner with and coach leaders to help them achieve success through their people, aligned with business goals
* Lead and embed change initiatives, ensuring best practices are followed
* Champion wellbeing and DEI initiatives, focusing on colleague wellbeing (e.g., MHFA, DEI Communities)
* Assist managers with complex ER cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
* Facilitate talent management processes to unlock potential, improve retention, and identify development opportunities
* Promote a consistent performance management approach through coaching and training
* Utilize people data to identify trends, recommend actions, and implement initiatives
* Manage retention and address absence concerns in partnership with leaders
* Ensure an engaging onboarding experience for new colleagues and managers
* Support managers in driving engagement initiatives
* Deliver on the people plan and HR calendar, providing necessary training and resources
* Support recruitment efforts for managerial roles to build leadership capabilities
* Act as a primary contact for HR & Payroll queries, ensuring alignment with processes and GDPR, and suggest improvements
