We are seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to lead a small, collaborative IT support team and ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services across the business. This is a hands-on role, combining technical expertise with leadership, where you’ll manage day-to-day IT operations, oversee projects, and play a key role in shaping IT strategy.
The Role
* Lead, mentor and support a small IT service desk team.
* Manage escalated issues, providing senior-level (3rd line) technical support.
* Oversee internal IT projects including rollouts, upgrades and process improvements.
* Maintain and develop IT governance, security and continuity plans.
* Take ownership of Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory administration.
* Manage IT suppliers, contracts, and software licensing.
* Research and introduce new technologies to drive business improvement.
About You
You will be a strong communicator and natural leader, with the ability to balance hands-on technical work with team management. Ideally you’ll bring:
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD and Windows Server.
* Experience with cloud solutions (Azure), networks, and desktop support.
* Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO27001, Cyber Essentials).
* A background in IT leadership/management, with experience guiding a small team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
Desirable Extras
* Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) experience.
* Awareness of Power Apps / Power Platform.
* Familiarity with IT governance, risk, and compliance.
