The successful candidate will learn how to support processes and procedures to become a vital member of our tax department. This is a mixed role which will include both administration tasks and bookkeeping/tax work.
Core responsibilities:
Process new client procedures including preparation of engagement letters, obtaining anti-money laundering information etc
Bookkeeping and Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions
Preparation of basic tax returns and computations
Registering and maintaining trust
Communicating with clients
Making and taking telephone calls
Generating fees
Scanning and saving records into our system
Skills/Qualifications :
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication
A desire to be involved in administration work whilst also being involved in tax/bookkeeping work.
Attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook
A professional, respectful, and friendly manner
Positive mindset / team spirit
What we Offer:
Flexible working subject to core hours (9am until 3pm Monday to Thursday, no core hours on a Friday)
35 hour working week
