Job Overview
This is a field-based, mobile position covering Scotland. We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople, preferably with plumbing bias, to join our growing engineering team.
Our Multi Skilled Technicians provide mobile facilities support services across client sites. The role involves general/fabric maintenance and business support tasks, reporting to a Regional Operations Supervisor and assisting mobile engineers with reactive, planned, and ad hoc maintenance.
Training and up-skilling will be provided as needed to achieve competency in the responsibilities listed below.
Working hours are typically 08:00 to 17:00 with some flexibility depending on circumstances.
Main Duties
* Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as fire alarm tests, water flushing, emergency lighting tests, etc.
* Monthly utilities meter readings
* Respond to reactive repairs
* Re-lamp defective luminaires
* Minor building fabric repairs and decorating
* Minor plumbing repairs
* General cleaning and janitorial duties as scheduled or requested
* Support external landscaping and cleaning as required
* Ad hoc porterage duties such as furniture moves
* Maintain accurate documentation of work orders
* Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental policies
* Participate in standby rota for emergencies outside normal hours
* Assist all trades within the team and undertake further training as required
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate work progress
* Proactively report maintenance or H&S issues

Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in building maintenance, handyperson, or janitorial duties
* Understanding of health and safety requirements
* Proactive approach to maintenance
* Full UK driver’s license
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Customer-focused experience
* Willingness to undertake further training
* Ability to record work accurately
* Flexible approach to working hours
