We are working with a well-established manufacturer based in Bedford, specialising in the production of high-quality components for the construction industry. With a reputation built on precision, reliability and innovation, they supply critical parts to major projects across the UK.
We are seeking two experienced CNC Programmers to join their growing team. You will play a key role in programming, setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components that meet their exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create, edit, and optimise CNC programmes using CAD/CAM software
* Set up and operate CNC Punch & Press Brake machines
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Ensure components are manufactured to tight tolerances and deadlines
* Carry out quality checks and inspections to maintain high standards
* Work collaboratively with the production and desgin team to improve processes and efficiency
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer (milling, turning, or both)
* Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software and G-code programming
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Use of Solidworks previously
* Experience working to tight tolerances in a production environment
