Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CA-licensed RN Case Manager for a day shift position with weekend and floating requirements.
Responsibilities
Work in the Case Management unit of a hospital
Day shifts scheduled from 8:00 to 16:30 with 5x8 hour workweeks
Minimum of 4 weekend shifts required within each 6-week period
Expected to float between all facilities within the state
Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day
All requested time off must be addressed at the time of application
Returning former perm staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot submit if within a 50-mile radius
Completion of hospital modules is required prior to start and annually
First-time travelers will be considered
Requirements
Active CA RN license required
Minimum of 2 years of recent case management experience
Epic EMR experience required
Current certifications as required for case management roles
At least 2 recent supervisory references from a comparable specialty/setting
