Fundraising Support Officer

If so, you may be just the candidate we need to join our busy Fundraising Team in Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, which is the official charity of Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, based at Woodland House, Cardiff.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient administrator with excellent communication skills and highly developed levels of proficiency and experience in database management.
Experience of fundraising and the administration of charitable funds and CAVUHB digital programmes and platforms would be highly advantageous.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary team, where the emphasis is on team working, and supporting patients and colleagues across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.
This post is offered on a part-time job-share basis, with the existing post-holder:
(15 hours per week - fixed days: Monday & Tuesday)

Main duties of the job
The Fundraising Support Officer will support the Health Charity Team to deliver the fundraising and marketing strategy.
To undertake a broad range of administrative tasks in support of the running of the Staff Lottery and Charity Office.
To act as the initial point of contact for all incoming queries to the Charity Office. To maintain and update an accurate and comprehensive database of information on all donors and contacts.
To record and monitor donations and provide useful information regarding future fundraising.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is 12-month Fixed Term or Internal Secondment due to - meet the needs of the service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship; Institute of Fundraising Introductory Certificate in Fundraising and European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Advanced Level or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Demonstrate relevant work experience in an office environment in a public facing service, with excellent customer service skills.
Skills
* Excellent level of computer literacy, specifically using MS Office, including high standards of proficiency in database management and data manipulation.
Skills
* Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills. Good time management and organisational skills.
