About the role
Be part of this 'once in a generation' project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low-carbon electricity.
The Civil Works Alliance is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke.

What you'll be doing
The purpose of the role is to provide supervisory oversight of the electrical activities across the project. The
Electrical Supervisor will ensure safe systems of work, regulatory compliance, and quality delivery of
electrical installations and maintenance, while managing personnel and subcontractors
They will report to the Electrical Manager, and he will be based on site project office with regular visit in
Orwell logistic park.
The Electrical Supervisor will support the electrical team across the project, responsibility including but not
limited to:
* Supervise day-to-day electrical activities on site.
* Lead and co-ordinate electrical installation, commissioning and maintenance works.
* Ensure compliance with relevant codes/standards and safety regulations.
* Monitor work quality, safety performance, and adhere to method and risk statements.
* Review and plan with engineer's workload and upcoming tasks.
* Ensure permits are adhered to.
* Communicate with other supervisors of other teams around the site.
* Investigate and resolve technical or operational issues, escalating where necessary.
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, commissioning, and handover documentation.
* Produce daily briefings to workforce, incorporating safety.
* Lead there team efficiently and safely whilst carrying out their task.
Who we're looking for
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
* Extensive experience supervising electrical installations/troubleshooting and maintenance in
complex infrastructure environments.
* Proven ability to lead and work alongside teams during electrical installations, fault finding and
commissioning activities
* Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and implementing electrical works to specification including
containment, cabling and terminations
* Strong communicator
Desirable
* Nuclear/license condition experience.
* Strong knowledge of BS7671 and BS50122-1
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* ECS Card Holder
* 17th/18th Edition Certified
* SMSTS
* Experience supervising a team in a similar role.
Desirable
* Experience working within Joint Ventures/Alliances.
* UK major construction experience and associated training
