An exciting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting activities within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, based in Hemel Hempstead.

Description
* Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
* Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors.
* Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
* Oversee audit and tax functions, coordinate activities with outside audit firms and review firms performance.
* Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities.
* Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
* Assist senior management in financial planning and results management.
* Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.
* Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA
* Solid experience in a finance role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
* Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation.
* Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
