Diamond Bus in the South East region are looking for professional and friendly bus drivers to join the team.
Diamond South East provides bus services in the Surrey and Oxfordshire area. Our aim is to deliver a frequent, reliable, clean and friendly travelling environment for our customers. From our Heathrow-based depot we operate local Surrey bus services, Hotel Hoppa Services plus contracted coach work, private hire and airside crew services.
We are a growing company, ready to take on the challenges of moving our business forward, which is why we are looking for individuals with a focus on customer services and a current PCV licence, to support Diamonds business across the region.
For Qualified PCV Drivers our hourly rate is £15.25, which means you can be guaranteed one of the most competitive salary rates for PCV drivers in the region. Other benefits include a staff & family travel scheme and 35hrs of CPC training is available.
Qualified PCV Driver Requirements:
1. Hold a full PCV licence with no more than 6 penalty points or driving ban
2. An up to date CPC qualification would be beneficial
3. Be personable and provide excellent customer service.
4. A good understanding of English language and the ability to communicate with passengers is a must.

We are looking for customer focused individuals to join the team as Trainee Bus Drivers at our Heathrow based depot.
We are committed to providing trainees with our high quality comprehensive 2-week residential training programme to obtain your PCV licence. This is delivered at our dedicated training school in Bolton, Greater Manchester where a residential pay rate will apply whilst training and accommodation will be provided.
The process for gaining your PCV licence is quite simple, once your training is successfully completed, you will become a full-time Bus Driver within the company based at Heathrow depot, operating services across the Surrey region.
Our extensive training and development offerings include:
15. Full PCV (Passenger Carrying Vehicle) training worth over £4,000 providing you with a qualification for life
16. Support and guidance whilst passing all modules of the PCV licence acquisition
17. CPC training and continuous training to ensure you keep your hard-earned qualifications
18. Extensive route learning and vehicle familiarisation before you go out in service for the first time
19. Company specific training such as ticket machines, processes, systems, defensive driving techniques, customer care, policies, and procedures and much more.
Trainee Driver Requirements:
20. To be considered for the trainee driver programme applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
21. Hold a valid car driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
22. You will need to have already applied for and received your provisional category D licence from the DVLA.
23. A good understanding of English language and the ability to communicate with passengers is a must.
