Graduate Planner – Manchester Are you a recent graduate with a passion for planning, development, and shaping the future of our towns and cities? We're working with a well-established planning consultancy in Manchester that is looking to add a Graduate Planner to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate to kick-start their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the UK. The Role As a Graduate Planner, you'll support senior planners on a variety of planning applications, appeals, and development projects. You'll gain hands-on experience across the full planning process while receiving structured training and mentorship from experienced professionals. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications Conducting planning policy and site research Preparing planning statements and supporting reports Liaising with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders Supporting project delivery across a range of development sectors Attending client meetings and site visits About You We're keen to hear from candidates who have: A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline A strong interest in the UK planning system and development industry Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong research and analytical abilities A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Eligibility to work in the UK Previous planning-related work experience, internships, or placement year experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
