Kiwa UK is looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to join Kiwa UK and provide expert legal and commercial leadership. In this critical role, you’ll lead complex contract negotiations, resolve high-level legal queries, and support dispute management. Acting as a trusted advisor to the UK Legal Counsel and senior stakeholders, you’ll help proactively manage legal risk while improving commercial efficiency and compliance.
Overview:
* Review and negotiate complex commercial contracts across various industries
* Develop and maintain contractual playbooks and contract management processes
* Draft and update contract templates (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements)
* Support the development of legal and governance policies
* Build relationships with internal teams and external partners
* Advise leadership on exposures and mitigation strategies
* Contribute to bids and proposals
* Identify and reduce unnecessary costs
* Lead procurement and supply chain negotiations
* Identify and manage risks in contracts and projects
* Provide legal advice on compliance and disputes
* Manage lease and property contracts
* Support insurance management queries
Responsibilities:
* Degree in Business, Law, Finance or equivalent experience
* PQE preferred but not essential
* Contract management certification beneficial but not essential
* In-house experience in a legal department or advising global clients
* Extensive knowledge of commercial contract law
* Experience in legal standards, risk, and compliance
* Strong organizational and stakeholder skills
* Ability to work independently and support growth
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness to travel as needed
Qualifications:
* Salary up to £75,000 per annum
