Join to apply for the SEN / SEND Tutor, Warwickshire role at Targeted Provision. This role involves providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs in Warwickshire.
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. This is a 1:1 tutoring role conducted in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner to raise engagement and improve educational outcomes for vulnerable learners.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support is delivered to learners referred by local authorities and schools, focusing on educational and social-emotional development
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver engaging, needs-led sessions to advance educational and social-emotional progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with learners with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Safeguarding knowledge and experience
* Enhanced DBS (assistance with obtaining at cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* UK-based with right to work in the UK (including remote/online assignments)
Note: It is a strict requirement that you promote the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment Status
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term placements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payment
* No guaranteed set amount of work or expenses coverage
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us
* This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
