Hays Education is working closely with a weing and inclusive primary school in Willenhall who are seeking a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team. This role begins on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition into full time for the right candidate.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting children across the Nursery with a strong focus on pupils with SEND. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver individual learning targets, provide 1:1 and small‑group support, and help create a nurturing, stimulating and structured learning environment.
Our responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting children with a range ofplex SEND needs, includingmunication, developmental and social needs
2. Delivering targeted interventions aligned with EHCP oues
3. Supporting daily routines and Early Years learning activities
4. Using positive behaviour andmunication strategies to build confidence and independence
5. Working collaboratively with the wider EYFS team to ensure consistent, high-quality support
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
6. A Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
7. Experience supporting young children with SEND in an Early Years setting
8. A patient, nurturing and confident approach to learning support
9. Strongmunication and teamwork skills
10. A genuine passion for supporting children withplex needs
