Salary: £35,000 – £43,000 + bonus + call-out + benefits

Mercury Hampton is recruiting a Field Service Engineer on behalf of a well-established industrial engineering business. This is a long-term, permanent opportunity for an electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer looking for autonomy, stability, and varied hands-on work across industrial customer sites.
The role is Telford-based with UK travel and would suit an engineer comfortable working independently in the field.

The Role

Field-based servicing, maintenance and fault finding on industrial equipment
*
Electrical fault finding with supporting mechanical work
*
Working on motors, control panels, contactors, wiring and associated systems
*
Reactive breakdown support and planned maintenance
*
Customer-facing role representing the business on site
*
Working independently with support from a close-knit service team
About You
*
Electrically biased or multi-skilled engineer
*
Experience in field service, mobile maintenance or industrial/site-based engineering
*
Confident electrical fault finding skills
*
Comfortable working independently and travelling to customer sites
*
Background in industrial, manufacturing, automotive or process environments
F-Gas certification is desirable but not essential.

Salary: £35,000 – £43,000, dependent on experience
