We are seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our supportive and dynamic team where inclusion, individual progress and student wellbeing are at the heart of everything.
Responsibilities
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Develop and deliver personalised learning plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
* Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and other professionals (e.g. speech therapists, SENCO) to support development.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
* Foster independence, confidence and self-esteem in every learner.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience in SEN education.
* Has a deep understanding of a range of special educational needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD).
* Demonstrates creativity, patience and resilience in their teaching approach.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Is an excellent communicator and team player.
